The Bureau supervised many relief and educational activities relating to freedmen plus many resources like rations, clothing and medcine.The Bureau also had custody of close lands or property in the Confederate States and Border States. The Bureau had controlled of all abandoned land. -

14 Amendment Ratified
The Fourteenth Amendment was passed by both houses on 8th June.The amendment was created to let citizenship to protect the civil liberties of slaves. Almost all southern states refused to ratify the Fourteenth Amendment and therefore Radical Republicans urged for it. -
13 Amendment Ratified
The 13 Amendment end slavery offically. Lincoln issused the Emancipation Proclamation which stated all slaves in slave territory wil be forever free. Lincoln belive that the admendment was necessary to make sure that slavery was ended. -
