    Government agency that provided food, shelter, and water to those who needed it.

  • Impeachment of Andrew Johnson

    Impeached because he violated the Tenure of Office Act.

  • 15th Amendment

    Restricts the government from allowing people to vote "On account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude."

  • Comprise of 1877

    Also known as the Wormley Agreement, it was an unwritten political deal to settle the dispute about the election of 1876.
