  • Before schooling

    Don't recall being read to before beginning my early education from my parents. I added this because it was the beginning of my reading experience.

  • Kindergarten

    Started learning my alphabets and could begin reading very simples words. Involve this because it was my first stepping stone.

  • 1st Grade

    Began showing difficulties with my reading and was held back a grade because of it. Involved this because it showed my struggles in academics.

  • 2nd Grade

    Some Improvement was shown as my teacher helped my reading. Involved this because it shows my Improvement.

  • 3rd Grade

    I showed an interest in reading and would practice my reading skills picking up different books. Involved this because it shows the positive impact on me.

  • 4th Grade

    I'd participate more into reading in school and outside of school and my reading skills improved and had great comprehension.

  • 5th Grade

    I would go to the library and pick up multiple books each visit to read so I can try new books. Involved this to show my interest in my knowledge.

  • 6th Grade

    Read multiple books and be able to have comprehension and write out my thoughts of what I had analyze.

  • 7th Grade

    I was able to write papers based off of my reading and could use metacognition.

  • 8th Grade

    Had no issues with my reading skills and comprehension skills and could read a new book a week or half a week.
