Jimmy Carter appointed her to this position where she worked for 13 years. She was the 2nd women to be appointed to this position. -

Bill Clinton appointed her to the Supreme Court of the United States. She was the 1st Jewish woman and the 2nd women to serve. -
Cancer Diagnosis
She was diagnosed with cancer and required surgery. She returned to the Supreme Court only 19 days after the surgery because she believed that young women needed her as a role model. -
Lost battle to Cancer
RBG lost her battle to metastatic pancreas cancer.
