In 1920 KDKA broadcast the first radio licensed radio coradcast out of Pittsburg. This radio station is still in use today. -

In 1921 RCA starts braodcasting in Long island. The company doing this allowed them to spread their company to many parts of the world. -
NYC radio
In 1920 WRNY a radio station in New York starts braodcasting TV shows on the radio. This gave people a different outlook on radio, it allowed them to spread there imagination and give them something to listen to when nothing else is playing. -

In 1945 the first television is invented. This allowed people to listen and watch the stories that the heard on the radio. -

In 1961 the FCC approves FM waves. FM waves gave listeners a better sound when they are listening to their programs. -
