Uncle Charlie
Uncle Charlie is a term used for personal radio stations. Once radio stations were a big thing, everyone wanted one. People would set up their own stations in their basements and broadcast. The only problem with this is that there were too many stations so close to each other and it would mess up many stations. You could never pick up the staton you wanted because of how close together the were. -
Advertising

Family Medium
In radio history, the best thing it has offered was unity....mainly in families. When there was no tv or many electronics, families would come together to and sit around a radio. There wasn't a lot of bad on the radio like there is on tv. There was always something on that the whole family could enjoy.
