However, it is unknown if he was the actual person who invented it or if he just has good PR and told everyone he did.

    Marconi is the first to apply for a patent for the radio. Shortly after, a man by the name Nikola Tesla applies. He was known for using radio waves in his experiments. After applying for the Patent, Marconi receives his patent in 1900. It is the British Patent 12039. Marconi is the first to get a patent for a radio communication device.

    On June 25, 2009, Michael Jackson died. He was known as the King of Pop and a legend. He sold just under the same amount of records as the Beatles with somewhere between 500 million and 600 million records sold.
