    The very first song played on radio was on Christmas Eve. The Reginald Fessenden used the alternator-transmitter to send out a short program from Brant Rock. First Massachusetts then to the general republic.

    In the early 1920's there was over 600 radios in the United States. But now 12 million households have at least 1 radio. Radio has expanded a lot over the past century.

    The televisor was the first start to television radio. It was basically a mechanical television. John Logie Baird was the inventor of it.

    The FRC was established in 1927. It would organize the licensing of transmitters. They would also assign radio station frequencies, call letters, and power limits.

    The Fm radio was invented by Edwin H. Armstrong. He also invented the superheterodyne receiver system. FM stands for frequency modulation.

    the celebration of the first radio channel was celebrated on November 2,1970. It was the very first channel there was and it was the only radio station that people would listen to. At least until they made other radio stations.
