Music written in the European tradition during a period lasting from 1750 to 1830, when forms such as the symphony, concerto, and sonata were standardized. Classical music was during the period. -

Began in the late 18th or early 19th century. This expression of emotion was the focus of all the arts of the self-described "Romantic" movement. Romantic music is supposed to be lovely. -
Invention of the Radio
Nikolai Tesla invented the radio in 1893. He was an Serbian-American inventor. Many people like to think that Marconi invented the radio but Tesla did. -
First transmitted signals
Marconi's was the first person to transmit signals across the Atlantic Ocean. He used his assistant,George Kemp, to confirm the reception. They transmitted the letter "S" in morse code. -
Audion tube
Lee De Forest created the audio tube. It is a vacuum tube that amplifies signals. another guy came up with the idea but he created it. -
First song on Radio
The very first song played on radio was on Christmas Eve. The Reginald Fessenden used the alternator-transmitter to send out a short program from Brant Rock. First Massachusetts then to the general republic. -
The Radio gets popular
In the early 1920's there was over 600 radios in the United States. But now 12 million households have at least 1 radio. Radio has expanded a lot over the past century. -
First Radio Station
KDKA was the first ever radio station. It started in Pittsburg. It was a big success. -

Broadcasted the very first transatlantic radio signal. It happened in Detroit,Michigan. they then used dome of the research that Marconi had to make wireless versions. -
Advertising
WEAF aired a 10 minute commercial. They charged $50(apartment complex). This was one of the first commercials or toll broadcasts played on radio. -
Televisor
The televisor was the first start to television radio. It was basically a mechanical television. John Logie Baird was the inventor of it. -
FRC
The FRC was established in 1927. It would organize the licensing of transmitters. They would also assign radio station frequencies, call letters, and power limits. -
Invention of FM Radio
The Fm radio was invented by Edwin H. Armstrong. He also invented the superheterodyne receiver system. FM stands for frequency modulation. -
50th anniversary of KDKA radio
the celebration of the first radio channel was celebrated on November 2,1970. It was the very first channel there was and it was the only radio station that people would listen to. At least until they made other radio stations.
