Gives out signal form a longer distance, its a vacuum tube that amplifies signal.In 1906 Le De Forest he created the Audion Tube. Reginald Fessenden came up with the idea hat made it into the history. -

1920,it was first called 8XK then was renamed it KDKA by Frank Conrad. He is still around broadcasting in Penn. -

Unce Charlie became very popular and in 1927 was when FRC was created.It assigns radio station frequencies, call letters, and power limits. Therefor it organizes the licensing of transmitters. -

W is East of the Mississippi River, K is West of the Mississippi River. Is used for communication to the WBAP and WFFA. Send signals through out radio stations. -

AM means Amplitude modulation which gives out waves in the radio stations. Goes from 535-KHz-1605KHz giving out more radio frequency. -

FM meaning Frequency Modulation. Giving out 88-108 MHz radio signal -

The Golden Era had occurred in the 30's and 40's . In the middle of the Great Depression, people were hating for money. Radio helped people advertise to make quick bucks. -
