    This proclamation was created to stop the colonist from expanding and taking over the native americans land.the Indians were scared and the king decide to act he thought that this would keep tje indians on there land.
  • Stamp Act

    The Stamp act is when the British Empire emposed a tax on any printed material. These printed materials were legal documents,like money. It also included magazines, playing cards, newspapers and many other types of paper used throughout the colonies. the purpose of this tax was to pay for the troop sationed in north america.
  • Boston Massacre

    this event is where patriots and british were fighting. the patriots were throwing stones and hard objecrs at the britsh. then they retaliated killing several patoits cause a street march by the patriots. in the end 2 british officers were attacked by about 50 patroits

    The Boston Tea Party was a political protest staged by the Sons of Liberty in Boston.The protesters digused as manydifferent things like american indians destroyed an entire shipment of tea from britan. This protest was in defience of the tea act that had been set in place in May 10th 1773

    the battle of Lexington and Concord started the revolution off. it started as tentsion between the colonies adn the british troops. these battles started the open arms conflict between the 13 colonies nd the british.

    the Declaration of independence was a statement declaring the independece of the 13 colonies from britin. There were 56 people who singed the document were representitives of the 13 colonies. A reason for the split from england was the unfair taxtation with not representation in the parlement
  • Surrender at yorktown

    General corwallis brought 8,000 armed troops to yorktown Virgina and expected to have the british navy for help. something went wrong and the ships never showed. this is when General Washington took a chance and took over the british causing there surrender.
  • treaty of paris

    the treaaty was between the Untied states and Great Britian. it ended the revolutionary war and and recognized Americas freedom. 5 men were chosen to create the treaty, John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, John Jay, Thomas Jefferson, and Henery Laurens.
