  • Wix

    Wix
I used Wix to create my blog to present all the researching and planning that I have conducted. I have also used Wix to add audio files, web files and PowerPoint’s to my blog. I chose Wix over Word Press and any other blog related website, since I liked the layout, and I personally found that it was the easiest site to use. Wix can show all information in different ways for example I can add video, audio, images, text, and shapes to make my blog more interactive for my audience.
  • Photoshop

    Photoshop
I used Photoshop to create my front cover, contents page and double page spread. I continually used Photoshop throughout my media project. There have been many times where I have found out new techniques by using trial and error. I took a few days before I actually edited any of my pictures to find different effects that I found interesting and what I could use for my magazine. I also was self-taught by YouTube there was many different tutorials.
  • Nikon Camera

    Nikon Camera
I used a Nikon camera to take the pictures for my Pop Music Magazine. I started by taking some tester photos to make sure that I was comfortable with using the camera. I used flash and then took the flash away. The Nikon Camera has been used to take the pictures that appear on my front cover and double page spread. Also some pictures on my contents page- however the concert photos have been took on my phone as I wasn’t allowed to take the camera into the venue.
  • Prezi

    Prezi
I used Prezi for my evaluation questions. I used a slideshow to show the target audience for my group. I feel Prezi would present my information in a fun and interactive way. By using Prezi I could show off my media skills since I am showing that I can use and navigate in different aspects of the media and show my skills. I liked using Prezi as I like the interactive aspect to it, and how you can click through it. Prezi slideshows are not in a straight line like PowerPoint.
  • Dafont.com

    Dafont.com
I used Dafont.com to get the best logo for my magazine. I had to download lots of different fonts before I found the best font for the Pop Music Magazine. While using Dafont.com I found it had the biggest range of fonts and different styles of font, which gave me lots of Varity and choice when choosing the right font. As I believe that the font says a lot about your magazine and I felt it was a crucial aspect of my magazine that I want to get right.
  • Itunes.

    Itunes.
I used Itunes to add audio files to my blog. I first created audio files on my Macbook, then I had to convert them to MP3 files with iTunes, since Wix only allowed MP3 files on my blog. I found this process to be very strenuous and time consuming, it took a lot of patients and had to Google how to do a lot of it but I stuck with it and I think the end results were good.
  • Survey monkey

    Survey monkey
I used survey monkey to survey my audience. I created my survey then got my teacher to email it around college for people to fill it, I also sent it too various family members and friends on Facebook. I found out the age, gender and music that my audience liked. I used survey monkey to create graphs and tables. There was many different age ranges, but I found out what my audience profile would be and I saw what people in college would want as a magazine.
