Quentin was a high school drop out who took up a job at a local video store where he studied VHS after VHS, until he took his eyes to the pages of a screenplay which would eventually become the film True Romance. After getting his start in the film industry he continued his film Reservoir Dogs, which featured an ensemble cast of Steve Buscemi,and Harvey Kietel, He was assigned to write the script for From Dusk Till Dawn, where he would collaborate with Robert Rodriguez.
