Columbus discovers America in 1492. He sailed west hoping to find a new trading route to Aisa where they had gold and spices. His mission stopped when he ran into America. -

These colonies were groups of settlers farming, fishing and doing general buisness on the east coast. -

This was an event where the Sons of Liberty raided and dumped several million pounds of tea into Boston Harbor. This was done in response to the newly founded Tea Act which imposed unwanted taxes upon the American citizens. -

The Expiditon's Main urpose was to explore the newly bought Luisiana Territory. Other objectives were also to make contact with the indians for trade and to finde the best route to the west coast. -
Missouri Compromise
This was a bill that granted Missouri staehood as a slave state. But it also prohibited slavery in the rest of the Louisiana Purchase. -

Bleeding Kansas was a Bloody border war between the Free-Staters and the Pro-Slavery group. It was fought because the two groups coudn't agree on wether Kansas would become a free state or a slave state.
