I will do this first because people commonly are on their phone and texting, so the quicker I can get them to recognize my store and associate it with positive feelings, the better. When people get information directly too them, it causes for less hassle because they don't have to do any researching themselves. They will get my location, what I offer, types of drinks, types of music and when, and more.

    50% off coupons will be mailed to residents in the 5 mile radius of my store. People will start to connect, "Oh, I just got information through text about this place last week!" Hopefully, people will want to try out my coffee shop, and will enjoy being able to spend money while receiving good product. Even If they aren't dying to try my coffee, why not when it would be cheaper with a coupon than getting it anywhere else!

    I will offer in store punch-cards with the deal of buy 4 drinks, then get the 5th one free. People will already know about my restaurant because they most likely received a text about it, and a coupon emailed to them. For these reasons, more people have visited my shop, and then are encouraged to keep coming back. They will see that there money is worth more if they come back for more drinks, and will be offered free product, for buying a certain amount.

    Product Samples
    Samples I will be offering are shot-sized glasses of drinks at grocery stores. The type of drink will rotate based on popularity, and season. Ex. Today I would use a pumpkin spice latte. These samples will be distributed to neighboring grocery stores for many reasons. During this time specifically I would choose to do a Christmas themed drink as we reach December! People will already be conditioned on our restaurant, so when they see it in store, they will be more likely to try it.
  • Coffee Sweepstakes

    Coffee Sweepstakes
    A contest I will offer is whoever spends the most money at my coffee shop will receive free coffee for a year (one medium beverage per day for 12 months). Who doesn't love free coffee! I know I do (shout out Starbucks rewards). The more people spend, the more chance they will have at my offer. This way more people will come in, and even better, more people will spend more money. Incentives and sweepstakes like this encourage people to spend more than they typically would.
