Planned throughout the summer of 1680 by the Pueblo tribes, the Pueblo Revolt began with the simultaneous attacks on different Spanish settlements in New Mexico. -

Forced to flee southward, pueblo communities were successful in the expulsion of the Spanish from New Mexico. -
