Since the 1820s, various forms of public transportation have come and gone throughout the world,making and impact not only on how we travel but also on today's general structuring of cities. -
The Omnibus: Where it all started
In 1900,Omnibuses where horse drawn cars that was designed to hold 8-10 people at a time. It was a good system but a terrible uncomfortable ride for passengers to make worst the streets were still paved with cobblestone at the time. -
The Horse Car
in 1922, The first rail transit system smooth rails laid into city streets made for a more comfortable ride.However, the horse themselves became a burden between physical limitations and daily food intake. -
The cable car
as of 1944,The cable car was created offering a relatively easy alternative to horse drawn cars. Cable cars where great for cities with steep hills such as San Francisco. But they was where also quite unsafe, as cable car were prone to snapping -
The street car
In 1950, The street car was created drawing power from lines above the roads. Street cars used existing rails but didn't require cables to move along. Street cars made it easy for citizens to commute to the city for work, giving way to the small suburb/large city structure we're familiar with today in the united states. -
Modernization
in 1999,Rail transit such as subways and monorails rose in popularity with a desire for a higher volume alternate to buses that was not susceptible to traffic delay. These buses was more cost but was way more effective than any other bus before its time. -

as of 2005 more and more subway buses were made these buses where so popular that they made many duplicates on the very first subway bus -
The cool 21st century
in 2009, The buses were the best transportation u could think of but the people wanted to be comfortable when riding our buses so the government added air conditioner. -
The Present (2018)
We now have Metro buses all around the world some on subways and some that route through streets and Neighborhoods.and throughout cities theses are most popular and the most common buses in our today life other than school buses
