The dishonoured team created this facebook page knowing it would be their main platform of social media as it would reach the most people. It was used as a way people could message questions about audition information. Now it is used to keep followers informed on how filming is going and locations that will be filmed, as capturing local scenes is a main aim of the team production team. -

Newspaper article
A news article was posted to gather local people to take part in 'dishonoured' wether cast or crew. This traditional piece of promotion was effective as it got alot of people interested in wanting to be in a really film which is an opportunty not a lot of people in the area surrounding spalding may get. -
Auditions
The auditions were adverised through a newspaper spread and word of mouth leading up to the auditions. People from around the South Holland area turned up to audition for cast and crew roles and the roles were decided by the director, director of photograhy, and executive producer. This film promoted the fact that 'Dishonoured' was a chance for local people be a part of a real indie film and gain experience within the film industry. -
Teaser Trailer Release

The teaser trailer was specialy made for this film seperate and before any actual filming, it gave the followers of 'Dishonoured' some excitement and information about the film as well as an introduction of the main cast aswell as the newly formed crews skills. -
Carters Park Shoot
'Dishonoured' wanted to capture as much of the South Holland area as possible to promote its commitment to the community. They chose Carters Park as a main venue for filming which was a good startagy for making people aware of the film. The Park is situated in the centre of a town called Holbeach and therefore had a lot of public around while filming, looking interested at the view of cameras and sound equipment. A lot of local extras were used as it allowed people to experience a real film set. -
Music In The Marketplace Appearance
An event was held in one of the movies filming locations Spalding. Dishonoured were then given the opportunity to appear at the event, hold a stall showing the teaser trailer and speak to people, answering questions about the film as well as promoting in a traditional way, through word of mouth. They held a selfie competition which allowed people to get a selfie with the main cast. A selfie was then chosen and the winner won a day on the set of Dishonoured. -
First Instagram post
The launch of their instagram wasn't as successful as their Facebook start up but they set it up to appeal to a wider audience and to make sure all social media beds were covered. They have posted pictures regularly to maintain interest and to show their audience behind the scenes exclusives. -
Long Sutton Family Fun Day Appearance
The visit to the Long Sutton Family Fun Day allowed dishonoured to show local people their progress with the film aswell as attracting a wide audience for interest of the film. They spoke to people at the event about the film at the comunity spirit it wasn't to create through the making of the film. Although it is an 18 rated film, this engaged children after them seeing the cast and crew of a real film. This created interest from parents who are more likely to watch the film when released. -
Holbeach Gig Scene
The filming of the gig scene held in the Holbeach Services Club allowed more local people to be part of a local film and gain a unique film set experience. Meg Mcpartlin, the singer-songwriter who has written the theme tune for the film was the musician playing at this 'gig' which was also a good strategy by the crew. She has a large local following and so her followers would see her progress with the shooting of this film and gain interest. -
Premiere Ticket Article
This artcile was the announce of the premiere date and ticket release. It was published in a popular local newspaper so that all the local people could see when the film was to be premiered. -
Premiere
The premiere is being held at a local venue called 'South Holland Centre' in Spalding. It is at the heart of 'dishonoured's filming venues and it a well known local attraction to people in the south holland area. The regular audience of the venue will most likely see the or be engaged with the film as it supports their local regular venue.
