    FDA (Food and Drug Administration) made it to where if food was not being made a high enough sanitation rate then it will not be sold to customers

    This made it to where the Congress can now collect income tax from the people.

    The 17th amendment established that each state of the United States must have senators
  • Federal Reserve Act

    This was signed in by President Woodrow Wilson. It made the Federal Reserve System the central banking system of the United States.

    The reason the Federal Trade Commission went into place was to promote protection of consumers/buyers.

    This was to protect consumers from unfair business practices that could potentially harm the consumer.
  • 18th Amendment

    18th Amendment
    This prohibited ,making, transporting, and selling alcoholic beverages. People were very angry about this, and therefore it was later on repealed but not until December 5, 1933.

    The 19th Amendment was a historical event in the United States because it stated that you will not be denied voting rights because of you sex/gender.
