This made it to where the Congress can now collect income tax from the people. -

Federal Reserve Act
This was signed in by President Woodrow Wilson. It made the Federal Reserve System the central banking system of the United States. -
Federal Trade Commission
The reason the Federal Trade Commission went into place was to promote protection of consumers/buyers. -
Clayton antitrust act
This was to protect consumers from unfair business practices that could potentially harm the consumer. -
18th Amendment
This prohibited ,making, transporting, and selling alcoholic beverages. People were very angry about this, and therefore it was later on repealed but not until December 5, 1933. -
19th Amendment
The 19th Amendment was a historical event in the United States because it stated that you will not be denied voting rights because of you sex/gender.
