Introduction
Demi began her career in 2002 on the children television series Barney & Friends, but was more so introduced later in 2008 and 2010 when she played a role in the movie "Camp Rock" and "Camp Rock 2". Her role in the show and movie were still not very known but was her introduction to her career. -
Growth
Demi began to gain popularity when she stared in the children's comedy show "Sonny With a Chance" in 2009-2011 also releasing her first single music tracks. Her role in the show began to get her recognized among young people, which lead to the release of her first songs which were a hit. This was when she began to be known. -
Maturity
Demi reached her maturity when she released a couple of Albums from 2013-2017. Some songs debuted and earned seven top-20 tracks on the Billboard Hot 100 with "Heart Attack", and more. She also went on to be an X-Factor judge for 2 seasons and on tour grossing $70 million. -
Decline
Demi Lovato career began to decline when she ran into drug problems in July 2018 when she overdosed and was rushed to hospital. Some fans supported her but many were upset with her choices and lost interest and she lost her good reputation. -
Decision point
A little over a year later since her overdose Demi has just broke silence for the first time since her hospitalization and has a positive attitude. She has goals of fighting addiction and working towards a better future for LGBT and mental health awareness.
