The Happy Times
Before the Holocaust the Jewish people and others were happy going through their day as normal people without problems. Yanek got bread everyday and didn't have to worry abut starving or if he talked he would be killed. -
The Invasion
The Nazis started to go through towns and killed many Jews and people of other faiths. Yanek and his family had to squeeze many other families into their house so that they could survive. -
Taken
The Jewish people were taken to concentration camps. Yanek was taken to 10 terrible and harsh concentration camps. Some people died and others were badly injured. -
Freedom
During this event many Jewish people who had not lost their lives were freed and some were reunited with their loved ones. Yanek found a person that lived across the hall from him and found some of his relatives too. -
Finding a living
People found jobs and some even got married and had children. Yanek went to New York and got married to Ruth.
