1040
First writing technique
Somewhen between 1040 to 1048, A Chinese guy name Bi Sheng made the first writing technique by taking a piece of china, like a board with engravings of letters, then put them in ink and made stamps out of them. That way you sold only write one page at the time and then could not use that board again.
Then, in 1230, people used Bi Sheng technique but
used metal instead of china. -
1440
The first writing machine
In 1440, A jeweler named Yohan Gutenberg change the world with his invention – the first ever Printing machine. It replaced the clumsy and messy old technique and made writing way more easy. He took the board and cut that into pieces, which made it possible to write every sentence you want and use the same letters all the time. Also, that way the machine did the stamp and not the human and made it easier. -
Yohan's machine - develop
In 1814, The Printing machines developed. Much like Gutenberg’s
machine, it worked on the system of stamps by machines, only this time the machines were totally independent and didn’t need any human help because they worked on steam.
Not much later, in 1839 the steam was replaced and the machined worked on electricity. -
The Offset machine
At the end of the 20th century, the Offset printing machines were made. The picture that was about to be printed went from the computer to a board, then to a rubber roll that had ink on the specific place where the picture needed to be on the paper and the other places who needed to be blank has water on them to protect them from the ink, then the roll went to the paper and slide on it, leaving the ink and making the picture. This technique is still used today to big writing, commercials signs. -
Printing machined today
Lastly, in the 2000th the machine we use today were made. the good thing about today printers is that they are faster and don’t need much preparation like the Offset printers. In today's machine it knows on it’s own what colors to use, and it take couple of seconds to minutes.
The computer transforms the information right into the machine to a silver page, then it knows what colors to use, it make couple of rounds, like the Offset printers, a round to every color.
