    Was born in Philadelphia, Pensilvania. She was raised Catholic and was of Irish and German descent. Her parents were John Brendan "Jack" Kelly, and his wife, Margaret Katherine Majer. The newborn was named after her father's sister, who had died at a young age

    Grace was rejected by Bennington College because of low mathematics scores, she decided to pursue her dreams of a career in the theater. She went to Manhattan with her uncle and worked as a model to support her studies

    She acts in a small role in the 1951 film Fourteen Hours. this performance didn´t received too much critics and she continued her work in the theater and on television. About 1954 she was garnered in the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress and her first Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. After this she was well known as a quality classy actress.

    While she was driving with her daughter, Stéphanie, to Monaco from their country home, Roc Agel. She suffered a stroke and caused her to drive off a mountainside. Princess Stephanie suffered minors brusings, as the age of 52 years old Princess Grace died at the following day of the accident at Monaco Hospital
