One Stormy Night....
Little Sarah and her mother, Jane, gliding on a boat away from their destroyed home of Madain Sari. The little boat rocks for days, until it reaches the docks of the kingdom of Alexandria. Jane is found dead, but little Sarah survives, with no memory. The king and queen, greiving over the loss of their little daughter, Garnet, decide to adopt this little identical girl, and raise her as Princess Garnet Til Alexandros XVII. -
Birthday Kidnap Escape
After years of a lovable home, Garnet becomes worried of her widowed mother, and decides to escape the castle on her 16th birthday for help. Turns out, a group of rowdy theives were sent to kidnap her, and thus, Garnet's journey begins, along with her kidnapper, Zidane. -
Flying Towards Lindblum
After a long and dangerous journey with Zidane, her knight, and Vivi, a young boy, Garnet reaches her destination, Lindblum. She herself steers a flying ship through a gate, and into Lindblum, the home of her father's best friend. -
Garnet's Song
Garnet feels a bit lonely in Lindblum's Castle, so she climbs to the top tower, and sings a song from her lost memory. Zidane finds her, and exclaims that it is a beautiful song, and unlike one he's ever heard. -
Garnet Remembers
Being destrought over destruction by her mother's hand, Garnet decides to go with Zidane, and Vivi to another continent to find the origin of a man that is corrupting her mother. On this new continent, they find a little girl from Madain Sari. The little girl lives alone, and the village is in ruin. While there, Garnet remembers that she and her real mother were escaping by boat from this very village. She knows that she is not the true Princess Garnet. -
Garnet Faces Her Responsibility
With her mother dead, Garnet must assume the throne. She never thought that she would assume the throne this way, but she must bring peace and prosperity to her people. She looks forward to a bright future, even if it is without her love, Zidane. -
Alexandria, Destroyed
Only a day after her coronation, Garnet sees her kingdom under attack by the man who took her mother. She tries her best to help her people, but almost dies herself, if it weren't for Zidane rescuing her. -
Garnet Loses Her Voice
Distrought over the loss of her mother and the destruction of Alexandria, Garnet loses her voice. It is only temporary, but her peers become very worried about her. She blames EVERYTHING on herself, which is not helping her. -
Garnet's Haircut
After many hardships and thoughts, Garnet decides it is time to move on with her life. She runs away from her team to her mother's grave. Zidane finds her there, and gives her a garnet, saying that this garnet wanted to shine, and so should she. Garnet takes Zidane's dagger, and cuts her hair, symbolizing that she's letting go of the past. -
Goodbye Zidane
Zidane stupidly stays behind to save the evil man. Garnet makes Zidane promise to come back, but will he? -
Garnet's 17th Birthday
One year later, Zidane hasn't retruned. Garnet decides to move on with life, like Zidane told her to. Watching a play dedicated to her, the hooded main role takes off his cloak, and calls her name! It is Zidane! Garnet rushes from her balcony, through a crowd of people, and leaps into Zidane's arms.
