Japan invaded Manchuria because they needed more resources for their industrial revolution. Later on they invaded the rest of China as well as Korea for the same reasons. -

Mussolini invades Ethiopia because it is one of the few remaining independent nations of Africa. By 1936 it is added as part of the Italian Empire officially. -
Munich Conference
The conference was between the British and French Prime Ministers, were they agreed to allow Germany to annex Czechoslovakia, in hopes to avoid war. This did not work because by March of the next year Germany invaded the rest of Czechoslovakia. -
Kristallnacht
The Night of Broken Glass, when German Natzis attacked Jewish people and their properties. The night was named because of the broken glass from windows.

Non-Aggression Pact
Hitler signed this pact with Stalin (Soviet Union), which eliminated the danger of an invasion from the east. -
Invasion of Poland
Germany used Blitzkrieg against Poland, which was fast, concentrated air and land attacks. The Soviet Union joined Germany on the attack of Poland, allowing Stalin to claim some of Poland for the Soviet Union. -
Invasion of France
German forces defeated Allied forces by mobile operations and conquered France, bringing land operations on the Western Front to an end, until June 6, 1944. The Allied forces were forced to evacuate from France through dunkirk. -
Battle of Britain
It was a military campaign of WWII, in which the Royal Air Force defended the UK against the large scale attacks by the Nazi Germany's air force, the Luftwaffe. It has been described as the first major military campaign fought entirely by air forces.
