Campaigning
Campaiging starts way before election day. There are debates for the President and Vice President. Posters, commericals and voicemails are also being sent out at this time. The candidates are trying to get voters.They also go to rallies. -
Cauces and Primaries
Cauces: citizens give speeches on behalf of the candidates. There is an informal vote count. There is also more intense participation.
Primaries: citizens are able to make the choice for the delegates. Similar to regular election.

Political Party Conventions
Delegates attend the National convention to cast votes. Majority wins. Vice president is chosen by the candidate winner. They debate. Fundraise until election day -
Election Day
Voters go in and vote for the candidate that they want to win. There are places that allow early voting. Voting is all day. Fundraising and campaining stop. -
Vote of the Electoral Collge
Votes from the citizens are counted in each district. This information gets passed on to the state capitol where the electoral college is waiting. They then add up all of the votes and in most states, whichever candidate has the most votes gets all of the electoral votes for that state. There are a few that base their votes on the percentages between the candidates. If 40% vote democrat and 60% vote Republican, then 60% of it goes to the Republicans and 40% of the total votes goes Democratic
