She goes to the doctor
My cousin's mom takes Yesina to the doctor to verify that she is really going to have a baby. Also the doctor gives Yesina vitamins and baby magazines. -
First Sonogram
Yesina goes to the doctor to see how the baby is doing so far and gets to hear the baby's heart beat. The doctor tells hetr that the baby is doing fine. -
I go trough the baby books.
I read the things Yesina's mom gave her so I could learn more about what she was going through. -
I talk to Yesina
Yesina tells me how happy she is aving a baby and thhat its something that she has always wanted. I tell her about the things I have read in the books that the doctor gave her but she just waves me off. -
I sit Yesina down
Yesina seems to take her pregnancy as a joke and doesn't seem at all concerened that she know has a ittle person inside her. I tell her that she can't just think about herself in this matter. Its about what the baby needs and what she has to do now. -
Thanksgiving
Yesina eats a healthy portion of food and agrees that the baby is more important and that she needs to keep in mind of what is going on with her little "bun in the oven". I agree to help her in anyway I can. -
She gets ready to move
Yesina's mom does not want to live in Texas anymore so she moves her and Yesina back up to Iowa. I promise to visit her as often as I can. -
Yesina's dream
Yesina has a ream of her baby. She tells me that it is going to be a happy beautiful boy. -
Yesina's Birthday
Yesina turns 17 years old and it is also the day of her sonogram. The doctor tells her it is to soon to tell weather it is a boy or girl. The doctor says tat Yesina has been taking good care of herself and the baby. The baby is healthy and strong. -
Her belly has grown.
She sends me a picture of how big her belly has gotten. She tells me that he is going to be a big strong boy. -
I go and visit
I go up to visit her at er house that she now lives in with her new boyfriend. I buy her baby books and tell her that her baby will come out smarter if she reads to her fetus. -
Interesting news
Yesina tells me that she can feel her breast getting bigger . I tell her it is because she is starting to produce milk for her baby. -
I go back home
I go back ome and think about what my cousin is going through. I call her and ask if she has started reading to her baby yet. -
Wieght Gain
Yesina is horrified that she has gained so much weight, i calm her downby telling er that it is just because that she is pregnant. -
Swelling Feet
My cousin calls me again to tell me tat her feet are getting swollen and that she is sleepy all the time. I give her a website that she can go on to learn about wat is going to happen to her body because she is prego. -
The Sex
Yesina goes to the doctor to find out what the baby's sex is going to be and finds out it is a boy. -
It Happens
Yesina has the baby early. He comes out fine just a little weak. I go up state to help her out with taking care of both of them in teir delicate state.
