Week 3
During pregnancy there are many important mile markers, non more important than week 3. During this week the sperm will have completly merged with the egg. Thus beginning the combination of both partners dna strands and developing your childs organs. -
Week 12
Week 12 as been designated as the end of the 1st trimester. The fetus has developed the human like shape as well as fingers and toes. Another significant reason for this week is this is when most people begin to tell others they are pregnant and the risk of having a miscarriage is reduced. -
Week 20
Week 20 is a very important milestone in one's pregnancy. It is defined as the half way point during the pregnancy and this is when your child begins to respond to certain stimuli. If you play music it will react to sound and if you put a flashlight up to fetus it may respond to the light being their eyes have just opened. -
Week 30
During week 30, the fetus is about to come out. Weighing in at on average about six to six and a half punds. The brain is fully developed and able to control simple body functions such as breathing. Also, the brain is able to control heart rate and other simple functions.
