The Abbasid Revolution was a transition from an Arab empire,Ummayad Empire, to the Abbasid Empire. The Abbasid Empire appropriated lands of the Umayyad and eventually completed replaced the defunct Umayyad Empire.

The Tang Dynasty supplanted the Sui Dynasty and was the largest out of all previous territories of China. It is considered one of the highest points in Chinese history and its influence reached empires such as the Silla Dynasty.

Muslim Arab warriors were sent to sack Constantinople as they continued to expand their territory, but Constantiple was defended successfully by the Byzantine empire. This failure prevented the Muslim Arab warriors from advancing further.

Charlamagne was crowned by Pope Leo III on Christmas Day making him the first Holy Roman Emperor since the fall of western Rome. The Pope's crowning allowed Religion to have power over the emperor in Western Europe.

The Fujiwara clan controlled politics throughout the Heian Period while the emperor was more of a figurehead. This influenced all politics during the Heian Period and somewhat lead to the feudal system by weakening the emperors power.
