    When the english arrived in Jamestown, Pocahontas was around 11 years old. Pocahontas would not encounter english men until the winter when she met captain John Smith. Where he was captured and she had saved him.

    He was a private captain. He was not part of the tribe or high in title so Pocahontas married him for love.

Pocahontas, age 21, was buried March 21, 1617. Later after, The peace of pocahontas began to unravel. Life for her people could never remain the same.
