Auguste Comte ( Auguste -Marie-Francois-Xavier Comte) was born into this world on January 19th, 1798. The birthplace was in Montpellier France we known for being the founder of modern positivism and the title of sociology. -
Early Life and politics
Comte was a brilliant student and was able to be in the top four of exams which allowed him to entrance to Ecole Polytechnique. After the school was shut down he met with Henri De Saint-Simon. Comte became his secretary and was thrust into politics. The most important of these articles were republished by him in 1854 and remain the best introduction to his oeuvre as a whole.

Death of August Comte
August Comte succumbed to stomach cancer in the year 1857 in Paris France with a life long legacy to pass on to all sociologists and philosophers. He was buried in the famous Père Lachaise Cemetery, surrounded by cenotaphs in memory of his mother, Rosalie Boyer, and of Clotilde de Vaux. His apartment from 1841–1857 is now conserved as the Maison d'Auguste Comte and is located at 10 rue Monsieur-le-Prince, in Paris' 6th arrondissement.
