    Before Carnap could begin to write his very own thesis in Thermionic Emissions he had to go and fight a war he did not agree with. Rudolf served in the German Army during WW1. After serving 3 years in the front he was allowed to leave the Army to study Physics at the University of Berlin under professor Albert Einstein.

    Born in Ronsdorf, Germany in 1891, moved to Barmen after the death of his Father in 1898 where he studied at the gymnasium. From 1910-1914 Carnap immersed himself in Philosophy, Physics, and Arithmetic's whilst studying at the Universities of Jena and Freiburg.

    On September 14th 1970 Rudolf Carnap passed away. He is considered one of the most influential philosophers of the 20th century and his work made strides in the fields of philosophy of science and physics. A true scholar that questioned the world around him and influenced many.
