Natural Disater

One significant natural disaster that occured in peru was a massive earthquake called the Ancash earthquake. It happened a long time ago, on May 31st. The earthquake it had a magnitude between 7.9 and 8.0. it destroyed building collaps but also triggered big landslides and avalanches. These landslides buried entire towns a lot of people lost there lives. It's estimated between 66,000 to 80,000 people died.
