Day I was born
On this day I was not only born into the world I was born into a group or a cohort called the Millennials as I was born in the same timeframe as the rest of the Millennials -
Started Kindergarten
I began my educational carer when I started kindergarten. I started learning about social norms as I watched other children behave and how I should be behaving in certain situations at school and at recess. -
Got my first job
When I began my first job I had to begin following my social role as that particular employee. -
Started Highschool
I began attending high school and began experiencing role strain. I get pulled in many diffrent ways as I have 4 different classes with 4 different teachers. On some occasions I would be stressed with so many assignments and have to decide which one was the most important and how I could manage my time to get them all done. -
Made the high school hockey team
When I made this team I began experiencing role conflict. Between my status of a student, friend, employee and athlete they were all demanding and I always had to try and manage my time as best I could. -
Got another job
I made a transition from one job to another changing my role set and my status of an employee. -
Got my first boyfriend
I got my first boyfriend and obtained a new status as a girlfriend and had to meet the certain role aspects of that status -
Began helping out with atom hockey practices
I began helping out with a local hockey team by coming out to their practices and help teaching the younger kids how to play hockey. I joined a community social institution. -
My grandma died
This life event changed and shaped who I was as a person. I think of life differently and treat people with respect and love everyone. -
Got my first car
This milestone in my life presented many more challenges and responsibilities. I now had to follow the rule and norms of driving and presented myself with more bills to play such as insurance and gas. Being a driver you have many new status responsibilities
