    5 Events for Personal and Professional

  • Decided to go to Boca High (professional)

    I decided to go to Boca Raton High School for high school and to be on the swim team.

  • First High School Swim Practice (professional)

    this was my first high school swim practice where I got to meet my new swim family for the next four years.

  • Made My First Regional Team (personal)

    I made my first regional team and was the only freshman to make it into finals for the 500 free.

  • Started My Sophomore Year (professional)

    This year was very difficult year academically and was anti-climatic with swimming.

  • Made my First States Team (personal)

    After training really hard for the past two years and just barely missing the cuts, I finally made states.

  • Told I Couldn't Swim Anymore (personal)

    During my senior year, I tore part of my labrum in my shoulder and the doctor told me my senior year was finished, which meant I might not be able to swim in college.

  • Able to Swim Again (personal)

    After many months of physical therapy and testing my faith and patience, I was able to slowly start to swim again!

  • Committed to Carson-Newman University (professional)

    I called Coach Paige McCord to verbally commit to CN.

  • Signed to Swim for Carson-Newman University (professional)

    After 5 recruiting trips and multiple scholarship offers, I chose to swim for CN.

  • My First Collegiate Swim Practice (personal)

    Here was the first day of my last part and step of my swimming career with my new family once again. This would be the place I end my swimming career.
