Hillcrest Elementary School in Morristown, Tennessee welcomed Tori Johnson into Mrs. Pugh's kindergarten classroom for her first day of school. -
Tori Acts As A Tutor- Professional
As an eighth grade student, Tori was assigned a class period a day to be a teacher's assistant/tutor for Jamie Greene at Lincoln Heights Middle School in Morristown, Tennessee. This was the first time that Tori realized she loved the education world and began to consider it as a profession. -
Ms. Neill's English Class- Professional
In Ms. Neill's eighth grade English class, Tori was taught that teaching English would be an interesting job. She loved ever activity, lesson, and piece of information taught in that class. She one day dreamed of teaching from that point on. She will forever be an impact on my teaching because she was the best teacher I've ever had. -

On this day, Tori graduates for Morristown Hamblen High School West in Morristown, Tennessee. -
Tori Begins College
Carson-Newman here we come! Today is the first day of Tori's college career. She began as an education major, K-6 emphasis. -
Tori Writes for West Side Story- Professional
As a senior in high school, Tori acted as Editor-in-Chief for the Morristown West High School newspaper. This was a great responsibility where she had to work with other students, teach them about writing and technology, and ochestrate a monthly paper. This taught Tori that she wanted to work with people on bettering themselves in whatever job she ended up doing. -

Tori Begins Block- Professional
This semester, Tori has been taking her "block" classes learning the last bits of information she needs before student teaching. She is so excited to go forward while also being so close to teaching in a classroom of her own. This will effect her teaching because it has and is giving her the tools she needs for teaching her own class through methods and content knowledge. -
Student Teaching- Professional
Next semester, Tori will begin student teaching. This will be the biggest step of her professional career as it is the last step before the real thing!
