    Cyrus the Great founded the Persia empire Achaemenid. He formed the tribes once ling in this land into a federation.

    Darius the 1 was under the rule of Persia and was working its way into expanding into the mainland of Europe.

    The first War Ends

    The war comes to an end with Greece coming out victorious with 192 casualties and 6,400 Persia deaths. The Persians fled and began to plan their return.

    The Persians came in again very strong in September with an estimated 500 ships and the Greeks were at a disadvantage with only 300. But the Greeks had the general Themisocles who was very experienced and pulled Greece through.

    Greece had an army of around 110,000 with the Persians having similar numbers they were defeated causing Xerxes' ambitions to end in Greece.

    In 396 BCE Greece and Persia, conflicts arose, when the Spartan king invaded Asia.

    Like many other empires Alexander the Great takes over the Achaemenid Empire of the Persians, with the help of 10,000 Greek Mercenaries.

    The Achaemenid Empire run by the Persians had control over central Asia. It losses its rein in 330 BCE.

    The previously known Achaemenid Empire is now known as the Seleucid Empire. This was claimed by one of Alexander the Great's general after his death, after they took over the Achaemenid.
