Hussein's speech and what happened
Hussein's speech included him accusing Kuwait of taking crude oil, demands their foreign debt be taken care of, conspiracy to keep oil prices low only for the west, and finally said its not a real country. Hussein shortly after his speech invaded Kuwait. The Egyptian president wanted to avoid US intervention but, was later asked for help anyways. The United Nations then asked for Iraq to leave Kuwait. -

Trying to prevent attacks on Saudi Arabia by 300,000 troops of Iraq's the UN gave them until January 15th to withdraw. Which later caused Hussein to declare Holy War. -
