Dolores kills a living organism
All hosts (AI) in WestWorld are designed to never hurt a living thing but at the very end of westworld episode one "The Original" Dolores strays away from her coding leading to one of the first steps of conciousness. She kills a fly that had landed on her cheek. This in turn begins the journey that all of the hosts (AI) in WestWorld must take in order to gain freedom. -

The Voice of Arnold
In Episode three "The Stray" some of the hosts within the park begin expieriencing voices in their head whom they say belongs to a mysterious man called Arnold. This sparks the hunt for who the man behind the whispers are, as back at the mesa hub (control center of westworld) employees scramble to uncover dark secrets -

Bernard relaizes what he is
In Episode 7 of Westworld "Trompe L'Oeiol" Reveals in one of the final scenes that Bernard, the head of code design for the hosts at the Mesa, is actually a robot. This begins a new understanding of the show as Ford, CEO of westworld has more control and power than previoulsy assumed. -

The Sweetwater Masscare
In Episode 9 of Westworld "The Well Tempered Clavier" it is revealed that 35 years before present day, the cofounder of the park that bernard is based off of, Arnold, instructed all of the hosts to kill eachother, than him, to prevent the opening of the park. This marks a turing point in the show, as it shows the lenghs at which Arnold/ Bernard is/was willing to go to allow the hosts to gain conciousness -

The hosts break free
In the seaon one finale of westworld "The Bicameral Mind" the hosts of westworld break free of thier loops and massacre the Delos workers at the celebration in the park. This Leads to the true concioiusness of a few characters that proves that the final part of the maze was an internal voice, the hosts are now as real as the people.
