  • Lexington & Concord

    Lexington  & Concord
    Leaders: British: Genreal Thomas Gage/ Colonists: Capitian John Parker Location: Lexingtion/Conrad Main Event: Battle of Lexington and Concord- where the revolutionary ware started. First battle of lexington neither side expected to fight but in mist of all the confusion a gun shot went off forcing the british to attack. Second, the battle of Concord were americans won. Who Won the battle: The british had to retreat . They lost 73 men and 200 were wounded or missing. Colonist WON!!!!!!!
  • Ft. Ticonderoga

    ethan allen led a groups of vermonters to battle against fort ticonderoga at the sothern tip of lake champlain, the colonist one.
  • 2nd Continental Congress

    2nd Continental Congress
    In Philidelphia in May of 1775 Washington became a commander. The Olive Branch Petition was sent to King George III, teh document said that the colonists decalared their loyalty and asks him to remove the Intolerable Acts. This was not a battle.
  • The fight at Bunker Hill

    The fight at Bunker Hill
    The Generals were General Howe against General Artemas Ward and General Israel Putnam. On the Charlestown Peninsula on the North side of Boson Harbor. ON the thrid time they went up the hill they got into hand to hand combat with the Americans and the Americans were forced to retreat. The Patriots killed more then 200 poeple and wounded more then 800 people.The Americans were defeated after the third attempt to take the hill.

    Montgomery led one army from Fort Ticonderoga to Montreal and seized it. Then moved on to Quebec.

    -Rnold and his troops had a hard time going through the woods. Freezing rain coated their coats with ice. Supplies ran low...only ate boiled bark and shoe leather
    -Blinding snowstorms where the Americans attacked Quebec...Montgomery was killed and Arnold was wounded
    -The Americans failed to take the city, then later wekened by disease and lefted Canada to the British
