End of the French and Indian War

The First Continental Congress was an organized meeting of representatives from each of the 13 colonies (except for Georgia) in 1774, in response to the "Intolerable Acts" that had been passed by the British Parliament. -
Battle of Bunker Hill
The Battle of Bunker Hill was an early battle in the American Revolution. Taking place on June 17, 1775, it resulted in a British tactical, although Pyrrhic victory, as the British Army suffered more casualties in that battle than in any other battle for the rest of war. -
