    At 7 pm we went to a Doble via a La Guardia school to submit a letter and make a form filled by the principal an us related to the statistics of the school in a process called mapeo. There we found out that they don’t have an official English teacher so they need a specialized teacher graduated from the Normal School in English. The principal and secretary were really kind to us during this process.

    On this day we went to the school “Republica de Mexico” to submit a the letter of permission for our teaching practice but we got surprised to see that they weren’t working because of a previous celebration they had for the community anniversary, so there was a worker in the school that indicated to ask for the principal cell phone number to a neighbor who could help us.

    On this day of interviews we started to look for the school, neighborhood and community authorities to interview them but it was hard to find them because we were told that they work all day long and that we could find them just at night but luckily we could find the executive of the neighborhood board who invited us to his house to have the interview where we could collect important information about the school and the community, he was really kind to us.

    This was our second day of interviews, it started with the students, they were really helpful and helped us in answering the questions, they could share many things about the school and their activities, later we left some interview papers to the principal and to the teacher and they agreed to give them back completed for the following day. Later we went out to the Medical Center to have an interview with the doctor in charge of it she was really kind and completed our form.

    On this day of interviews we could find the executive of school board in charge of finances , and we presented to her our teaching practice plan and she was really helpful in answering all of our questions related to the school and neighborhood problematic, for example, she told us they quit the school free breakfast in order to have money for other projects for the school, besides we could take some pictures with all of this executives as evidence.

    We arrived at school at 7:45 and the day began with the Monday’s civic act consisting of the national anthem sang in originary language (guarani), then, the principal gave some advice to students following with the Santa Cruz anthem. Later when started our first class at 10:40 a.m. with the 3rd A class and we began the lesson related to people's nationalities and origin called “Where are you from?”

    At 7:45 a.m. We started our class with the 4th A grade and the topic was about the parts of the body, with practice of the yes no questions, then we passed with 1st grades parallels B and C and in these classes we could teach something about the demonstratives these, that, these, those, and also we could talk about colors in English.

    At 7:40 was started our class with the 3rd B class, Indian with the topic of people's nationalities and origin called “where are you from?”, enter at 9:40 it is started an event called “La Feria del PSP”, and this was about hygiene related to mouth and tooth care and also sexual transmitted diseases prevention , and for this, we were appointed as part of the jury to qualify the different stands that were prepared for the event.

    On this day, we passed classes with the 3rd grade, parallel C and again, the lesson was related to the topic on people’s origin and nationality called “Where are you from?”. Later, we had classes with the 4th grade parallel A, where we had an special activity related to the “Dia plurinacional de la lectura”, where we showed a video with a story that the students had to interpret through answering some questions on it.

    Our guide teacher had her week day off and we took advantage of it so we got prepared for our next class and also we completed the forms related to our journeys, later we put in order our PDC portafolio papers and we looked for the principal to have our papers signed and stamped. I remember taking some pictures of the school.

    On this Saturday’s class we passed with the senior students of class 6th parallel A, and the topic was related to people’s origin “Where were you born?” with the past tense of the verb be also other verbs including the part of “Yes/No questions”. Later, the same with class 6th, parallel B.
    Finally on the last Saturday’s, with 5th grade, parallel A the topic was future plans meaning “going to”,the days of the week and the months of the year including important celebration’s dates.

    At 7:45 a.m. We completed lessons with 4th A grade and the topic was about the parts of the body, with practice of the yes no questions, then we passed with 1st grades parallels B and C and in these classes we showed flashcards of objects and colors to practice demonstratives these, that, these, those, and also new vocabulary in English. Finally we had the visit of our companion teacher Lic. Gail Arce.

    At 7:40 was started our class with the 3rd B class, Indian with the topic of people's nationalities and origin called “where are you from?” playing a game using flags. Later we passed classes with the 5th grade and we taught the topic of future plans with the form “going to”. With 1st class parallel A we explained the topic of demonstratives.

    On this day, we passed classes with the 3rd grade, parallel C and again, the lesson was related to the topic on people’s origin and nationality called “Where are you from?”. Then, the second period was with the 4nd grade parallel C, with the topic of houses and apartments. Finally we had the visit of our companion teacher Lic.Rose Mary Terrazas.

    Our guide teacher had her week day off and we expected to be part of the school celebrations with the activity of marathon but it rained very heavily and the activity was called off, later, we put in order our PDC portafolio papers and we looked for the principal to have our papers signed.

    On this Saturday, the senior students of class 6th parallel A, and B were having activities of rehearsal for the school celebrations and also they were cleaning their classrooms and the school yard.
    Finally on the last Saturday we had our papers signed and stamped by the teacher and the principal. We had also the visit of our companion teacher who was trying to do the same thing with her papers.
