2001 World Figue Skating Championships
In 2001, Joannie qualified to go onto the World Junior Figure Skating Championships which took place in Sofia,Bulgaria.There, Rochette recieved 8th place. -
2002 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships
The Four Continents Figure Skating Championships was held in Jeonju,Korea. The four continents refer to the Americas, Asia, Africa and Oceania. Joannie got admitted to the 2002 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships because she won bronze at the 2002 Canadian Figure Skating Championships! Rochette ranked 9th place, as it was also her first senior international event! -
ISU Grand Prix Figure Skating Series
In the 2003 Rochette debuted on the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating series. She placed 10th at the 2003 Skate Canada. She competed at the 2003 Bofrost Cup on Ice and won the event! -
2004 Canadian Championships
At the 2004 Canadian Championships, Joannie won her second consecutive silver medal! This event was held in Edmonton, Alberta. -
2005 Canadian Championships
She won the 2005 Canadian Championships, her first Canadian senior title, which made her the first Canadian female skater to have won the Canadian Championships at all three levels (Novice, Junior, and Senior). -
2006 Winter Olympics
At the 2006 Winter Olympics, Joannie Rochette placed 5th! The 2006 Winter Olympics were held at an areana in Turin, Italy. -
2007 Canadian Championships
At the 2007 Canadian Championships, Rochette won her third consecutive national title. This event was held by skate canada. -
2008 Skate Canada
Rochette won the 2008 Skate Canada. This event was held at the Scotia Bank plance in Ottawa, Ontario. Joannie had total points of 188.89 on her outstanding performance, which led her to her victory! -
2009 Figure Skating World Championships
At the 2009 World Championships, Rochette won the silver medal, becoming the first Canadian woman since Elizabeth Manley to medal at the World Championships!
