Miami University is known for rock solid pride, winning teams, and a love for sports. This is always good to have on an athletic staff but can always be takin to far. Thats what Miami did; paying their athletes to come play sports for them using things from cars, to money, to houses. -

Reggie Bush was givin a house and car in order to attend USC and the NCAA found out about it and put USC on a major suspension and probation. -
Ohio State Scandal
5 players from the Ohio State University football team were in hot water because they sold things that they owned and wore which is against the NCAA rules because it sacrafices their amaturism. Coach Tresel also got canned because he knew about it and didn't report it. -
NCAA alowing money
The NCAA is now an additional 2000 dollars to be spent on players and is trying to reduce the rules that have hurt past Universities. -
