    Paul's father was a silversmith. At the age of 19 Paul's father passed away leaving Paul to run the family sliversmith business. Paul also had to take care of his own family life(his wife).

    In Boston workers and tradesmen joined together to form a rebellion against the stamp act. Paul Revere was one of the first leaders. The group famously stated "No taxation without representation."
  • Becomes a member of The Mecanics

    Becomes a member of The Mecanics
    Paul becomes a member of the first organized secret British resistance group in Boston. Paul and the others would take turns watching British soldiers and there ways. The Mecanics would meet in a secret room inside the Green Dragon Tavern. Also known as the Liberty Boys, they damaged and stole British equipment.
  • Revere's Ride

    Paul was instructed from from Dr. Joseph Warren to ride to Boston to Lexington to warn John Hancock and Samuel Adams of the movements of the British Army. The army was beginning to march from Boston to Lexington, Kentucky. Paul's vehicle was a horse not a car.
  • Military Career

    Paul's military service officially started now. As a committed patriot he joined the Massachusetts infantry militia in the rank of Major. Few months later he transferred to the artillery and was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel.
  • Penobscot Expedition

    Penobscot Expedition
    Paul Revere and 250 militia go to a abandoned battery about 400 m from a British fort. As expected about 55 British troops advanced from the fort. The poorly trained American troops fired only one volley at the attacking British troops and fled back to their fort, leaving behind all their arms and equipment.
  • Opens Bell Foundry in Boston

    Opens Bell Foundry in Boston
    Revere built an iron and brass foundry on the corner of Lynn and Foster Streets in Boston's North End. Revere supported the venture with income from his silversmith shop and financial assistance from his Hichborn cousins. He began making bolts and spikes for the shipbuilding industry. The foundry proved to be a huge milestone in his life.
  • Opens Copper Company

    Opens Copper Company
    In Canton, Massachusetts Paul developed a commercially viable process for manufacturing copper sheets. Revere rolled copper was used to cover the original wooden dome of the Massachusetts State House. Revere Copper would become Revere Copper and Brass Inc. with several plants and product divisions.
