After Park lost against Lee, he wanted to form a government with most close supporters and Park's supporters didn't want that to happen. So they formed a party called Pro Park Coalition. Park didn't join the party even if it was made for her. But she supported them. -

Park announced that she doesn't want to be an assemblywoman of Dalseong. Instead she decided to run a position for Saenuri Party -
Presidential of South Korea Election
The election for president of South Korea was held on 19th December 2012 and Park won against all the people who tried out for president. -
Officially in the Blue House
She became official president of South Korea and she stays at the Blue House, start from 10:00am. She shouted out that, "I swear that I will faithfully execute the Office of President. President Park, 25th Febuary 2013!" -
Visiting to U.S.A.
After Park was elected as the South Korea President she had a short visit to America. There she met Barack Obama and John Kerry. Going to America was her first foreign trip after staying at Blue House. Park also talked with Barack Obama about North Korea's threat to America and South Korea. North Korea threat America once more by saying that they will shoot the new killer weapon, if they annoy North Korea. -
Meeting North Korea
Park had said to citizns of South Korea that she will defend South from North. Park and Kim Jung En met together in a small village to discuss about peninsula and where it can take place. (Peninsula is a land bordered by water all three sides and there is global warming going on so that was what they were discussing about peninsula.) -
Brief Visit to China
Park had a brief visit to China with her delegation. There she met Xi Jinping, the president of China. That was her first visit to China during her presidency. -
Park went to the Memorial of UN
Park went to the memorial of UN to mark that she respects and thanking to the people who fought against North Korea during the 19th century and UN also helped us so much and that is why she went for the ceremony. UN memorial was for people come form another countries that died during the war. Most people when back to their homes, but some stayed at Korea and now they are at Busan UN memoral Park. 16 other countries fought against North Korea with South Korea. Including 54000 of U.S.
