UN Partition Plan
As millions of Jews did not have any home and many were still at the concentration camps, the United Nations assigned the area of Palestine to the Jewish Nations. This area was under control of Great Britain. -
End of British Rule
Britain ended its rule over Israel. Israel neighbor countries attacked them in order to destroy them. Israel survived. -
Armistice Lines
This was a series of treaties between Israel, Egypt, Jordania, Lebanon and Syria, through which Israel's territory was finally defined. -
Six Day War
Israel defeats Egypt, Syria, and Jordan and occupies Gaza and the West bank, gaining 100% control of historic Palestine. -
Oslo Accords
This accords were signed by Israel and Palestine Liberation Organization. These were supposed to provide peace, but it did not happen. -
Israel sets a Wall
Israel builds a wall in West Bank, which they said was to protect themselves from Palestinian terrorism. Palestinians take this as an imprisoning act and they say that it takes more of their land. -
Israel Attacks Gaza
Israel organizes an attack in Gaza because threats of Hamas rockets coming from there. 1,300 Palestinians and 13 Israelis are killed. -
