Attack on the World Trade Center
After years of planning Al-Qaeda planned on attacking the U.S. on their own soil. They first Hijacked four commercial aircrafts filled with passengers. They planned on hitting the Twin Town, The Pentagon, and an additional target in Washington D.C. Only three of the four reached their targets. Two at the Towers, one at the Pentagon, and one that crash landed in a field on its was the D.C. -
Osama's Death
After the events on 9/11 there was a manhunt for Osama resulting in him hiding and staying out of the public eye. After years of searching, he was located in a military compound. He was soon killed when a small U.S. force transported by helicopters raided the compound.
