All adults were required to vote and actively take part in the government. Canada borrowed lots from Greek law as well was influenced to choose democracy.

    6 tribes joined together to create a common council composed of clan and village chiefs each tribe had one vote and it was mandatory to unanimity use it for the decision making to attempt to stop the warfare between people. this effected Canadas government by also creating peaceful alliances in modern day like nado for example.

They also raided ports while a rebellion in nova scotia tried to occupy there. although all American rebellions were defeated in Canada, America still got its independence. this effected Britten by losing 13 American colonies and changed the make up of Canada.

    Thomas Hobbes believed it was better to have security over liberty in a country. he was opposed to the English civil war he was a peaceful and cautious man. he thought that it wasn't kings who should have the power it should be the people who give the kings power and only take orders from them so long as they choose who ruled (the social contract theory). Just like today people are following the laws and it could be because they feel like they have voice and get to choose who leads.
