First to come home from the hospital
I was the first one out of my siblings to come home from the hospital after being in the NICU. -

On September 11, 2001, two planes hit the World Trade Center in New York City and one plane hit the Pentagon in Washington D.C. This attack killed over 2,974 people. -
Sitting up on my own
At one year old, I could sit up on my own and I could pull myself up to stand. -
Walking up and down the stairs
At two years old, I was able to walk up and down the stairs without help. -
Moving!
At three years old, my family moved from Ada. Michigan to Byron Center, Michigan. -
Started playing soccer
At four years old, I started playing soccer for AYSO and my dad was my coach. -
Hurricane Katrina
Hurricane Katrina occurred between August 23, 2005 to August 31, 2005. The hurricane killed more than 1,800 people and is ranked at the costliest natural disaster in United States history. -
Got my first dog!
At six years old, my family rescued a two-year-old Portuguese Podengo. She was a stray from Spain and the sweetest girl. -
Started kindergarten!
At six years old, my siblings and I started kindergarten. We were in Mrs. Mackee's class at Byron Center Elementary School. -
Cut my chin open
At seven years old, my class went on a field trip and I tripped up some cement stairs and cut my chin open. I had to get picked up by my dad and taken to the hospital to get stitches. -
Parents got divorced
At eight years old, my parents got divorced. They fought often and figured that it would be best for the whole family if they split. -
Got my own dog!
At nine years old, my mom got me my own dog for my birthday. She was a Chihuahua Rat Terrier Mix and 13 weeks old when we got her. -
Got braces!
At ten years old, I got braces, not realizing I would have them on for the next four years. -
Death of Osama bin Laden
Osama bin Laden was executed on May 2, 2011. He died from a gunshot wound from Navy SEAL and special warfare operator, Robert James O'Neil. -
Puberty!
At eleven years old, I hit puberty and had a huge growth spurt. I was taller than all of my siblings and most of the kids in my class at school. -
Quit soccer
At twelve years old, I quit playing soccer after I got hit in the face with the ball and was left with a bad concussion and a black eye. -
Peer pressure
At thirteen, I had my first experience with peer pressure. My friends and I were hanging out with some boys and they were trying to get me to kiss this boy but I said no. -
Got my braces off!
At fourteen, after four long years, I got my braces off. -
First homecoming!
At fifteen, I had my first homecoming of high school. I went with my boyfriend at the time and a bunch of my friends. -
Started dating!
At seventeen, I started dating and met a boy that I would be with for the next two years and counting. -
Graduating!
At eighteen, I will be graduating high school and attending Michigan State University to study Veterinary Technology.
