It was the first public collage in the U.S. Helped people in the South get education closer to home. Since the college was public it was cheaper. -
Louisville
it was the 3rd capital of georgia but it was a fail. There was mosquietos and malaria. -
Cotton Gin
it was invinted by Eli Whitney in 1793 separated the seed from the cotton faster than hand. This increased slavery. -
Yazoo Land Fraud
Changed georgias history for ever along South Carolina and spain claimed land near the Mississippi River. Georgia got in big trouble for this. -
Land Lottery
People purchesed tickets in hopes of winning land. However the land did not belong to the GA citezens it belonged to the Native Americans. -
Railroads
The railroad brought buisnesses, people, & goods in and out of the state. This helped transfer materials out of the state. -
Baptist/Methodist
Two largest types of churches in georgia it spread throughout georgia in the 1700s. Many tent revials helped people learn about the church.
